PROF. WATANABE RECEIVE THE BLACK BELT FROM RICKSON GRACIE
On February 22 Prof. Takamasa Watanabe received at L.A, the Black-Belt from Rickson Gracie.
Watanabe had been offered this belt from some Brazilians instructors before but he politely refused. His goal was to receive from Rickson and no one else.
"I had the opportunity to get in contact to his technique, character, and spirituality. After this my perspectives and vision towards Jiu-Jitsu changed. Rickson is in level of understanding, not only the techniques, but of life itself, that any martial art master ever got close. "

All the four past seminars we invited big instructors such as Sperry and Murilo. The content was directed for the small people.
They showed moves from many positions. In the end they also went over other questions regarding preparation for a competition, etc.

This is their first time in Japan. Their schedule was very tight, but they said they enjoyed and liked Japan very much.
There is a possibility for another visit still this year, and we will try to bring them for another seminar at Axis.
